East Beach Villas at Pretty Lake is being developed by East Beach Renaissance, LLC – the same partnership that developed East Beach, Tidewater Builders Association's 2006 Community of the Year, site of the 2005 Coastal Living Idea House, and the 2004 Homearama Showcase of Homes.

East Beach Renaissance, LLC is comprised of D.B. “Bart” Frye, Jr., Lawrence J. Goldrich, Alfred Abiouness, I.W. Berger and CMSS Architects partners Burrell Saunders and John Crouse.

The master plan for the community was developed by Duany Plater-Zyberk, architects, planners, and leaders of the Traditional Neighborhood Development movement, or “New Urbanism” – the same philosophy behind communities like WaterColor and Rosemary Beach in Florida.
